 As
the 2009 DBAAR International Council Chair, I'd like to introduce myself and
give you some ideas and tools to get your year off to a great start.If you have not signed up to be a member for 2009, it's not too late! You may email me (link below) or call the board directly at 386.677.7131 and we'll get your name added to the roster. In order to remain a member in good standing, you must attend at least 5 of the 6 meetings. We meet bi-monthly for a total of six meetings - the meeting dates are listed below. Our first meeting will be held February 18th at 3:00 p.m. at DBAAR. Go to DBAAR’s website at http://www.daytonarealtors.com, click on MEMBERS ONLY, click the MEMBER SERVICES menu, and select International Council to get updates and tools to help you in your business. I would like to encourage all of you to join me at the FAR Mid-Winter meetings, which will take place at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at Sea World, January 21st - 25th. The meeting and education sessions are all free! You can register online at FAR's site. One course I would like to highlight is: "Marketing your Properties to the World" from 9-10:30 on Friday, January 23rd. Deborah is a phenomenal instructor, and will teach you about some great tools. This is also the perfect opportunity to network with other REALTORS® from around the state. I sent and received two referrals last year as a result of attending the FAR meetings and networking with other REALTORS®. I end with a quote from a great leader in business, Donald Trump, “Without passion you don’t have energy, without energy, you have nothing.” It is with passion and energy that I will lead our International Council and make our members shine in 2009!
