TRC Survey Results
Worldproperties.com conducted an extensive survey of TRC agents in 2010. Below is a snapshot of the the world's TRCs. An executive summary copy of the survey report is available at request by emailing TRC@worldproperties.com.


TRC Survey Highlights -- Snapshot of the World's TRCs

  • 75% of of TRCs have worked for more than 6 years in the industry (see chart below)
  • Nearly all speak English with 50% speaking an additional language
  • 78% are self-employed or are managing owners
  • 21% work in companies with more than 100 staff
  • 38% are affiliated with a franchise with ReMax representing the largest number (18%)
  • 98% of residential specialists indicated they work in the second home market
  • 25% have an office or branch in another country (43% are active in another country)
